Dancing that requires you to remember steps and sequences boosts brain power by improving memory skills and is a great way to keep both your mind and body healthy!
Technique and choreography classes focus on teaching the underlying foundation of a dance style. Dance styles such as Ballet and Ballroom are very choreography-based by nature, and thus require applying a specific technique you learn into various choreographed routines, helping to develop muscle memory. Most dance steps require accurate footwork, which often works your calves, thighs and hamstrings. Practicing a choreographed routine can help improve your coordination, stamina, muscle tone, rhythm and mood!
